How to make a cookie platter look special

You don’t need a fancy dessert stand. Or a decorating tutorial. Or three hours you definitely don’t have.

Start with a wooden board or your favorite serving plate. Arrange your cookies in a few small stacks, leaving room for strawberries, pretzels, and pieces of chocolate.

Mixing shapes and colors makes the whole spread feel thoughtful with very little effort.

Hosting a few friends? Add coffee cups and a small pitcher of milk nearby so everyone can help themselves.

One last detail: put out napkins. Someone is going back for seconds, and it might be you.
